Professional Training on ETABS

The main objective of this course is to teach ETABS from the basic level to advanced level through practical problems of RCC structure design. In this course, the realistic behavior of structure will be modeled such as modeling of mat/footing, pile foundation etc. Full structure will be analyzed and designed as per the BNBC code. Shear wall design with a different method will be discussed in this course.

Engr. Md. Sajjak Hosain is graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering, BUET, Dhaka-1000, in the year 2016. He is now completing his master’s degree from the same university in Geotechnical Engineering. He is a professional design engineer and training assistant at “Getoech & Structures” a specialized civil engineering consultancy firm. He is also a research assistant under Professor Dr. Jahangir Alam, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, BUET. Md. Sajjak did his BSc in Civil Engg with a major in Structure.
Md. Sajjak has research interests and has publications in international conferences. His notable research works are “Cyclic load analysis on strengthening by micro-concrete, Simplified FEM analysis of mat foundation, Simplified FEM analysis of Shore pile, Revetment and retaining wall for coastal engineering”.
Md. Sajjak was involved in many consultancy projects where he designed/checked high rise RCC buildings, Jetty, Shore Pile, Container Terminal, Ground Improvement, Bridge, etc. He visited many construction projects to check with design or to solve any construction difficulties.
